What a beautiful day it is! We have a new sister in Christ. Stephanie has obeyed the Gospel!
Stephanie is an inmate at the local jail. I wrote last week that Kristen and some other ladies had been studying with some new contacts we have made in the local jail (thanks Madison Street church!). Stephanie and Heather were both ready to be baptized when we met them. Brother Blakey from the Madison Street church planted, we watered, and God gave the increase (1 Cor. 3:6).

Brother Eddie met Inez back in May of 2011. She had been going to church for 30 years, but she had never been baptized. He started studying with her, and today, February 14, 2012 (Valentine's Day), she made the good confession, and put her Lord on in baptism. She serves as an example that it is never too late to make the right decision (she's 90 years old). Rejoice with us!
God bless you and yours,
Lance Mosher
God bless Stephanie & Inez, our new sisters in Christ, and for the faithful work of the church in Finger, TN. Encouraging!
"Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ."
(1 Pet. 3:21, ESV)
